I am all about charitable events that bring together some of the biggest names in Latino Hollywood. Bonus points if these ladies and gents show up looking all chic. Lets take a look at the fashionable Latinas at this year’s Padres Contra El  Cancer Gala.
With the U.S. Open Tennis Championship in full swing, you can bet that there are  plenty of eyes oogling over great plays and exceptionally good-looking players (We love you Rafa <3) Over the past few years, the game has also managed to recruit a few femme beauties like Enrique
’s boo Anna Kournikova and stunner Maria Sharapova. In the week leading up to competition, Sharapova was not only focused on her game but also the launch of her Cole Haan accessories line. Convertible clutches and stiletto sandals are my top picks from the Maria Sharapova Collection.  Find out what she wore to the unveil party after the jump.Â
Good-bye summer; hello autumn. Wild prints are all the rage this season on everything  from booties to coats to handbags. One of my fave modalistas Eva Mendes took the trend to a whole new level in a bold animal print dress at this year’s Venice Film Festival. As we all know, you either sink or swim when it comes to taking a fashion risk.  I think Mendes makes animal print work here. Get a few style pointers after the jump.
Independent, ambitious women inspire the pants off me. My mother, for instance, is a living example of ” you’re never too old for your dream career.” At the age of 40, she joined the Army and served her country for five years. Like my mother, Venezuelan designer Carolina Herrera went after her fashion dreams later in life, premiering her first collection in 1982.
For this week’s ” Best Dressed,” I’ve chosen an artista  who started making  music moves in summer ’06 with the club banger
“Whine Up,”   Yep, I’m talkin’ bout the pint-sized songstress Kat De Luna. Last night, the Dominican phenom was seen wearing a gorge gown at “Welcome to Gulu” art exhibit and charity benefit at the  United Nations.  Turn the page to see the full look y mucho mas!
