peaceofmindIt is mind-boggling (and slighty annoying) how the likenesses of revolutionary leaders like Che and Batista have been mass marketed on Tees, buttons, mugs and other paraphenalia. I’ve discovered a  new men’s clothing company that is doing just the opposite called Amivectio.

You don’t need a machete or machine gun to be part of this movement.  According to creative director Hector Estrada (ECKO, MECCA, TRIKO), ” ‘Amivectio’ comes from the combination of two Latin words: Amicus,which means friend or comrade, and circumvectio, which means to assail or revolt. I put them together to simplify things and create a new term meaning, ‘Friends of the Revolution’”
